Víctor García de Gomar is Artistic Director of the Palau de la Música Catalana, Artistic Director of the Gran Teatro del Liceo de Barcelona, and Artistic Director of the Auditori de Girona. A former director of the Nits de Clàssica Festival and the Festival of Religious and World Music, both in Girona, he also managed and led the Seville Baroque Orchestra, as well as working on musical projects for UNESCO. In his time at the Palau de la Música, he stood out for his international perspective and efforts to strengthen links between music and the literary and plastic arts. He holds advanced qualifications in singing and piano from the the Liceu Conservatory, which he would combine with the study of law and a postgraduate degree in the Management of Institutions, Companies and Cultural Platforms from Pompeu Fabra University, and advanced training at IESE Business School and the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago. Author of the book Y tú, qué escuchas, he co-presents the radio program of the same name for Catalunya Música.
