BIO
Born in Toronto (Canada), she trained as a violinist at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia (United States). Composers like John Adams, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Colin Matthews, Steven Mackey and Luca Francesconi have written works for her. She has performed, among others, with the Chicago, Cincinnati, Baltimore and Melbourne symphony orchestras, Ottawa’s National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España. In 2014 her recording of Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Violin Concerto with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra was nominated for a Grammy Award.
